Dear Mr. president
There is a problem with the prices of gas. Gas prices are the biggest problem for aging teens because we want to start to drive here shortly and we want to be able to afford gas. As a 13 year old I am looking forward to drive around town to go to school and to my grandma’s house. Gas prices are so high that they will have gas at about $20.00 a gallon in a couple of years. Unless you can make a car that can run on Co2 and air there is going to be a lot of people that will be mad at you.
In the world every teenager is looking for a car to drive in the future. There are hundreds maybe thousands of people that want lower prices for their car and every time they go to the pump they see it went up another dollar. According to Jacksonville journal courier three years ago “As all drivers know, gas and diesel prices have skyrocketed. According to government figures, the average cost of unleaded gasoline in the Midwest is up more than 89 cents a gallon compared to this time last year, while diesel fuel is up nearly 88 cents per gallon.”
In only two years I will be able to get my permit and drive with an adult in the passenger seat and it will be fun to finally drive for miles on end. I want to be able to help my family by buying the gas for the hundred of miles that we are driving. With the more and more prices on gas they are quickly growing and my grandma is about 70 years old and she can’t walk to work with her weak legs. Doug Abrahms of the Grannett news service says Tight refining capacity, $66-a-barrel oil prices and an increasing U.S. appetite for gasoline all contribute to the rising cost of gas. Few experts expect nationwide gas prices to drop to $1.50. The last time gas prices were that low nationally was in December 2003.”

Even when some people are rich and can afford gas without a problem while some people like my mom and dad we can hardl afford one gallon tanks in one checks. The people who can are doctors and rich people. According to Elizabeth Douglass and Gary Cohn of the Los Angeles Times “The strategy is not unique to California, but it is especially powerful here because the five largest refiners, as sole suppliers to about 70% of the retail market, can readily influence pump prices by changing how much the dealers pay for fuel. That control sticks because branded dealers are bound by long-term contracts that require them to buy fuel from the refiner at prices that are not negotiable.”
So Mr. President I just want to ask you one more question what are you going to do about this? You may have the money to buy gas in five years while others won’t even be able to afford the cost of living not including the price to move around in the future. I think this is the biggest problem now a days and it is beginning to get worse.

Dear Mr. President I want to inform you about a pressing issue. It is AIDS in Africa. I think it’s a big deal because it is killing millions of people every day because they don’t have the right medical care. I think there is something you could do about it. As the most powerful man in the world you should stop this, here are some ways how. One way that you could help would be to get the proper medical supplies over there. They are dying because they are too weak to get to the right medicine. If they can get more of it or even just get them closer to a hospital less of the people would be dying. Second, they aren’t protected. According to H.R. Shepard of the greenhaven press “Most of the people get AIDS because of rape”. If the government could get more police officers in areas where it is the highest then we could cut down on the AIDS disease. Then the officers could protect the women and children from the disease. Third it is a problem in the U.S.A. also. If we don’t start to take care of this it will get out of control. There is too much at risk with this disease. That is an issue I think you should address. I think it is going to be a big one to do one day, and you should start now.
I’d like to talk to you about a major problem that we have in the U.S.A. That particular problem is that we have way to many illegal immigrants. Not that I have a problem with them but they’re just too many. People from different countries have come illegally but there have been lots of different people from differ countries that have been coming in illegally. In this next paragraph are some reasons why we should stop illegal immigration.
There are many different types of countries that are coming in illegally. There are many Asians, Mexicans, Middle Eastern, and African immigrants. There are so many that it seems like that their taking over our country. Also I think that they are not allowed to be in this country. If they come in illegally then they should be sent to the military. So you should try to stop all the different countries that are coming in the country.
I also think that we should not have to learn the Spanish language fore any job unless we want a job in Mexico. According to Bilingual Education the issue of language is not about to tear apart American society, “despite the warnings of groups that believe otherwise and are actively pushing legislation that would make English the official national language.” That is why we should get rid of the Spanish language.
Last but not least, some people are coming in with out any (security) guard noticing them coming over. We need to have them step up on their job. According to U.S. News & World Report, Who’s Watching The Border? “Arizona and New Mexico are exasperated by what they regard as wholly inadequate federal efforts to improve security along the Mexican border.” See, now you should know that we should improve the Mexican border security.
This is one of the major problems we have in the U.S. today. You should please try to stop the illegal immigration. Thank you for your time and patience, Mr. president.

There is a big problem with teen pregnancy in America, in this letter I will explain three reasons teen pregnancy is a problem in America. One reason teen pregnancy Is a problem is that people believe teen pregnancy causes poverty according to Ruth Rosen who is a professor of history at the University of California and frequently writes about political a social issues. Another reason teen pregnancy is a problem is pregnancies have more health risks for teenagers than for older women according to the National Campaign to Prevent Teen Pregnancy (NCPTP). The final reason teen pregnancy is a problem in America is because of sex Ed programs. It is believed by the Family Planning magazine that sex Ed programs promote teen pregnancy because the programs make teenagers curious and so they experiment. These are a few reasons I believe that teen pregnancy is a problem in America. If it is possible, I would like it if you could cut sex Ed programs or something to prevent any teenage girls to live in poverty for the rest of their life.
Dear Mr. President; We need to do something about global warming before it’s too late. The polar bears in Antarctica are dieing, temperatures are rising, and sea levels are rising because glaciers are melting.
The polar bears are dying because they starve to death and all the ice melting in Antarctica so the polar bears are loosing their habitat. They are starving because they can’t find food so they have to swim for miles and often drown because they get to tired. The polar bear was just recently added on the endangered species list. We must save them before it’s too late.
The temperatures are rising rapidly and we are causing it by burning fossil fuels like coal. According to John P. Holdren of Harvard University and Woods Hole, “Carbon dioxide (CO2) is the most important of civilization's emissions and the most difficult to reduce. About 80 percent comes from burning coal, oil and natural gas; most of the rest comes from deforestation in the tropics.” Scientifically people say that all the CO2 that we produce from cars goes in the air and stays up there. Resulting in it gets hotter. We have to stop this.
With the ice glaciers and ice caps in Antarctica melting it is causing the sea level to rise. The ice in Greenland is melting rapidly too. According to Brian Walsh of Greenland, “More and more of Greenland, whose frozen expanses are a living remnant of the last ice age, disappears each year, with as much as 150 billion metric tons of glacier vanishing annually, according to one estimate. If all the ice on Greenland were to melt tomorrow, global sea levels would rise more than 20 ft.--enough to swamp many coastal cities.” They say that in a matter of years the sea will raise 5 more inches. The melting glaciers also affect the polar bears because it is their habitat. Glaciers are also very magnificent structures and soon they will vanish like the dinosaurs.
We need to do something about global warming. Please do everything in your power to stop global warming before it’s too late.

I see a tremendous problem in this county. The Federal Emergency Management Agency has been a failure in the last few years. They have been disorganized. They have been supplied poor products. Finally, they have not been punished. These are the reasons why.
This is the why I think FEMA has been disorganized. According to Sally Kestin and others of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel. Federal Emergency Management Agency intended the aid for displaced Gulf Coast families and limited it to one payment per household. But in three Louisiana parishes, FEMA issued more checks than there are households, at a cost to taxpayers of at least $70 million. And in 36 parishes and counties in Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama, FEMA awarded $102 million to at least 51,000 more applicants than local officials said were displaced by the storm. That is why I think that FEMA was disorganized.
Second, FEMA has given faulty supplies. According to The Economist. FEMA put in a rush order for 120,000 trailers as temporary shelter. As the time passed, complaints emerged. The trailers had a funny smell, and residents were coming down with nosebleeds, asthma and headaches. Some shrugged this off: any shelter after a storm. But as early as 2006, tests showed that some of the trailers contained dangerously high levels of formaldehyde, a carcinogenic chemical used in building materials. The sweltering summers made it worse. FEMA knew about the problems, but ignored them. Is this what FEMA will do? Lose lives to save some money! This is why I think that FEMA gives faulty supplies.
Last, FEMA has not been punished for what they did. They overspent their relief money on those who do not need it. they cost taxpayers millions of dollars. Finally they gave away the toxic trailers. But they have not been punished. Is this what you want if a disaster strikes. This is why I think that FEMA should be punished.

Dear Next president; We need to make a plan to get out of Iraq and when we do lots of things will happen for the better. One thing Bush did that makes it worse for us being there is attacking with no apparent reason. If we had a reason to go into Iraq we wouldn’t have lost thousands of soldiers and billions of dollars. Also we could have lower taxes and gas prices. Bush has put us in so far we can’t just pull the troops out otherwise we might start world war 3! Therefore we need to make a good plan to get soldiers out before anymore die or get injured and before we lose much more money.
Next we need to make a good plan to make up all the money to repay what we lost in Iraq. One way is we can lower taxes so the money eventually gets repaid instead of launching them up so high everyone dies from having no money to buy food! After we do that we can stop all the global projects like the $700,000,000,000 dollar bailout that is completely stupid. If we stop that we still might get some money back to almost pay our money back form the war. Therefore if we do that we can recover the money loss from the war.
Then we have to recount for the soldiers we lost in Iraq and train all those wounded soldiers back so they can fully recover. After that we need to stay out of wars for a while if we can so we can build up a lot of soldiers for the next war. If we do that we will have enough soldiers so if we go into a place like Iraq again. When we went into Iraq we didn’t have near enough soldiers and on some missions we only sent 3 tanks to take over thousands of people and hundreds of towns. Therefore if we can regain all those wounded and train more to replace the dead we may be able to regain the strength our army used to have.
After that we need to make sure all of our troops and citizens know we are not going back there. We won’t go back there because they still aren’t a stable government after a few years of our help. Also we were trying to help and they were just killing us. I think the only reason they fought is we just went in there and started a fight. If we didn’t do that we wouldn’t have lost any soldiers and our people wouldn’t have to worry and their government should’ve been stable by now. Therefore once we are out we need to let everyone know that we aren’t going back to that place.
Then we need to just protect our country. When we just protect our country we will save money. We will save money because we won’t have to buy fuel and more weapons to go other places. We will save soldiers. We will save soldiers cause most of the time we go to other countries to fight they jump on us. When they do that we have no idea what to do and we die. If we just stay here we can wait for them and jump on them and win, not lose. If that happens everything will be better. Therefore we should just stay in our place and not go to the other places.
Dear Mr. president, I am writing you today to discuss problems with gambling. I have found many lives and economy has been destroyed from gambling. Gambling also causes a lot of crime, and The Holy Bible says that gambling is a wrong thing to do. Many lives has been destroyed from because, first of all to gamble you must spend money so basically many people have become broke because of the urge to keep spending more and more money. The people that get broke might also have a hungry family to feed when they get back from the casino or where ever they go to waste their money. Another way that hurt or destroy lives is when adults can’t get a babysitter for their children they seem to think that is okay to leave their children in the car for long periods of time while they loose their money. David Haugen & Susan Musser of the Detroit Green haven press says, “Unfortunately, many current business and labor leaders have become either neutral or supportive of gambling because of its alleged economic benefits. However, increased gambling always results in increases in unpaid bills, embezzlement, bankruptcy, and absenteeism from jobs. In addition, gambling does not help a state's economy in any appreciable way. “ I have found that Gambling has increased the rate of rape, robbery, aggravated assault, larceny, burglary, and auto theft. As you can see these are very scary situations that are a threat to our country’s people all because of gambling. Finally I have found that The Holly Bible has word that gambling is wrong. In Matt 6:24-34 explains that the Bible condemns covetousness and materialism. Honestly if I think of this, I found if The Holy Bible says anything about being wrong in any ways then of course I would ban it because I believe in my religion very much. Therefore you can see that Gambling causes many issues with lives and economy’s being destroyed, crime, and Biblical warnings on what is wrong and what is right. ~Breanna~
I was asked by my English Teacher to write you a letter of what matters to us that we think you should try and fix. The war in Iraq I bet you’ve been told a lot about how it affects us. Here are 3 things at why I thing we should finish this war as soon as possible. Young people with their lives ahead that sign up to pay for college and die without a chance. This war isn’t going anywhere people who loved us started to hate us. They’re burning alive in suits that add an extra 100% degrees or so.
1st Young adults in the war. This war has cost us a lot of losses and I’m one that doesn’t want to end it early, but we can’t pull troops out of nowhere. So we should get a plan that should end it as fast as possible. We need to get Bin Laden, but we can’t let revenge get ahead of everything now. Young kids shouldn’t be pushed into war.
2nd The wars not going anywhere. The people that loved us hate us I think the war is going backwards making it worse. Its good helping but not when no one thanks you. We should stay 3 months and then leave when the job can fix its self. There’s no point in helping if the people don’t want help. That’s what I think about the war.
Last, burning alive. Iraq is like Mexico its flipping hott!!!!! The suits add an extra thousand degrees to the regular tempature. And when you pull it off you can get shot by the thousand bad people. If you don’t then you burn alive. That’s what I think about the suits.

Dear Mr. president Animal experiment is really bad these scientist are experimenting on these species that may be endangers or can be. These experiments get out of hand and these animals die. Theses are awesome creatures and the scientists kill them or leave them with a life with pain and agony do these scientists even care about animals. I wonder if there pet was testes on and that had to watch or there favorite animal was getting tested on and maybe be endangered. When we eject the animal or make an animal drink something In 1995 the scientist tried to cure aids and a baboon donor lost his life by testing the aid treatment. All animals are different in genetic ways and not so humans. So if we test to stuff on a cat it might have different side effects on the human or might kill the human. And not the animal so we when they experiment gini pigs are coated with corrosive substance that eat through their organs, dogs are having massive surgery and blinded cats are dropped into vast water. The accounts of any animal experiments surpass any horror movie and sheer repulsiveness. Animal is not jest wrong it is also grotesque. Right now history knows that animal experiment is never justified. In history we do not need animal experiments to prove that the cure can makes the disease better. Now we have better thing like machines and they can tell us if the cure works or not. Animal experiments are not right unless some people think it helps people practice in medical research is impossibly justified. The humans think that the soupier power makes them believe that they can do anything to any animal. They put them through that pain and surgery do we honesty believe that it is that we can torther these animals. When we use animals for experiments it violate animal rights without suffering and the pain. It jest come to show you that animal experiments is not justified I hope you under stand that it is not right.
I am writing to you today to make a statement about teen pregnancy and how it affects the mother and the child. First of all the baby did not ask to be born and some of the mothers may not want the baby so she gives it up for adoption. The mother may be so young she would have to have an abortion. Now think how wrong that is to kill a sweet little baby just because the mother made a bad decision. If the mother decided to keep the baby then she would have to have a job that pays well. The reason behind that is because the baby might get sick and have to get medical help soon. How would the mom pay for that if she does not have the money or her parents’ help? The child also needs diapers, formula, a car seat and a bed to sleep in. This is a big problem in the United States and that is the rate of how many teenage girls are having babies. Some of the mother’s parents don’t even care if their babies are having babies. The rate is outrageous and something needs to be done about it. From the year 1991-2005 the percent of teen-age mothers increased by three percent, according to the Centers for Disease Control. According to the web sit rates of pregnancy that is the rate in the United States alone. That is pretty high. In the year 1996 the abortion rate has went up a lot that means the rate now is 29.2%. This rate goes up every year. That is what the Internet said the rate was. Something needs to be done about the rate of pregnancy and abortion. So children need to be a little bit more responsible and think a bad idea through. These babies don’t deserve to be killed or abandone. They have a lot of life ahead of them so they should finish school and get a good job and then maybe settle down and start a family.
There is a major problem going on that is really important. Global warming is what I will be telling you about. Global warming is causing the ice caps to melt. Also the oceans will be rising. Polar bears are losing habitat.

The melting glaciers also affect the polar bears because it is their habitat. Glaciers are also very magnificent structures and soon they will vanish like the dinosaurs.

Dear Mr. President
I see a tremendous problem in this county. The Federal Emergency Management Agency has been a failure in the last few years. They have been disorganized. They have been supplied poor products. Finally, they have not been punished. These are the reasons why.
This is the why I think FEMA has been disorganized. According to Sally Kestin and others of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel. Federal Emergency Management Agency intended the aid for displaced Gulf Coast families and limited it to one payment per household. But in three Louisiana parishes, FEMA issued more checks than there are households, at a cost to taxpayers of at least $70 million. And in 36 parishes and counties in Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama, FEMA awarded $102 million to at least 51,000 more applicants than local officials said were displaced by the storm. That is why I think that FEMA was disorganized.
Second, FEMA has given faulty supplies. According to The Economist. FEMA put in a rush order for 120,000 trailers as temporary shelter. As the time passed, complaints emerged. The trailers had a funny smell, and residents were coming down with nosebleeds, asthma and headaches. Some shrugged this off: any shelter after a storm. But as early as 2006, tests showed that some of the trailers contained dangerously high levels of formaldehyde, a carcinogenic chemical used in building materials. The sweltering summers made it worse. FEMA knew about the problems, but ignored them. Is this what FEMA will do? Lose lives to save some money! This is why I think that FEMA gives faulty supplies.
Last, FEMA has not been punished for what they did. They overspent their relief money on those who do not need it. they cost taxpayers millions of dollars. Finally they gave away the toxic trailers. But they have not been punished. Is this what you want if a disaster strikes. This is why I think that FEMA should be punished.

War In Iraq
Dear Next president;
We need to make a plan to get out of Iraq and when we do lots of things will happen for the better. One thing Bush did that makes it worse for us being there is attacking with no apparent reason. If we had a reason to go into Iraq we wouldn’t have lost thousands of soldiers and billions of dollars. Also we could have lower taxes and gas prices. Bush has put us in so far we can’t just pull the troops out otherwise we might start world war 3! Therefore we need to make a good plan to get soldiers out before anymore die or get injured and before we lose much more money.
Next we need to make a good plan to make up all the money to repay what we lost in Iraq. One way is we can lower taxes so the money eventually gets repaid instead of launching them up so high everyone dies from having no money to buy food! After we do that we can stop all the global projects like the $700,000,000,000 dollar bailout that is completely stupid. If we stop that we still might get some money back to almost pay our money back form the war. Therefore if we do that we can recover the money loss from the war.
Then we have to recount for the soldiers we lost in Iraq and train all those wounded soldiers back so they can fully recover. After that we need to stay out of wars for a while if we can so we can build up a lot of soldiers for the next war. If we do that we will have enough soldiers so if we go into a place like Iraq again. When we went into Iraq we didn’t have near enough soldiers and on some missions we only sent 3 tanks to take over thousands of people and hundreds of towns. Therefore if we can regain all those wounded and train more to replace the dead we may be able to regain the strength our army used to have.
After that we need to make sure all of our troops and citizens know we are not going back there. We won’t go back there because they still aren’t a stable government after a few years of our help. Also we were trying to help and they were just killing us. I think the only reason they fought is we just went in there and started a fight. If we didn’t do that we wouldn’t have lost any soldiers and our people wouldn’t have to worry and their government should’ve been stable by now. Therefore once we are out we need to let everyone know that we aren’t going back to that place.
Then we need to just protect our country. When we just protect our country we will save money. We will save money because we won’t have to buy fuel and more weapons to go other places. We will save soldiers. We will save soldiers cause most of the time we go to other countries to fight they jump on us. When they do that we have no idea what to do and we die. If we just stay here we can wait for them and jump on them and win, not lose. If that happens everything will be better. Therefore we should just stay in our place and not go to the other places.

I am writing you today to discuss problems with gambling. I have found many lives and economy has been destroyed from gambling. Gambling also causes a lot of crime, and The Holy Bible says that gambling is a wrong thing to do.
Many lives has been destroyed from because, first of all to gamble you must spend money so basically many people have become broke because of the urge to keep spending more and more money. The people that get broke might also have a hungry family to feed when they get back from the casino or where ever they go to waste their money. Another way that hurt or destroy lives is when adults can’t get a babysitter for their children they seem to think that is okay to leave their children in the car for long periods of time while they loose their money.
David Haugen & Susan Musser of the Detroit Green haven press says, “Unfortunately, many current business and labor leaders have become either neutral or supportive of gambling because of its alleged economic benefits. However, increased gambling always results in increases in unpaid bills, embezzlement, bankruptcy, and absenteeism from jobs. In addition, gambling does not help a state's economy in any appreciable way. “
I have found that Gambling has increased the rate of rape, robbery, aggravated assault, larceny, burglary, and auto theft. As you can see these are very scary situations that are a threat to our country’s people all because of gambling.
Finally I have found that The Holly Bible has word that gambling is wrong. In Matt 6:24-34 explains that the Bible condemns covetousness and materialism. Honestly if I think of this, I found if The Holy Bible says anything about being wrong in any ways then of course I would ban it because I believe in my religion very much.
Therefore you can see that Gambling causes many issues with lives and economy’s being destroyed, crime, and Biblical warnings on what is wrong and what is right.

Dear: Mr. President Of The Term 09-2013
I was asked by my English Teacher to write you a letter of what matters to us that we think you should try and fix. The war in Iraq I bet you’ve been told a lot about how it affects us. Here are 3 things at why I thing we should finish this war as soon as possible. Young people with their lives ahead that sign up to pay for college and die without a chance. This war isn’t going anywhere people who loved us started to hate us. They’re burning alive in suits that add an extra 100% degrees or so.
1st Young adults in the war. This war has cost us a lot of losses and I’m one that doesn’t want to end it early, but we can’t pull troops out of nowhere. So we should get a plan that should end it as fast as possible. We need to get Bin Laden, but we can’t let revenge get ahead of everything now. Young kids shouldn’t be pushed into war.
2nd The wars not going anywhere. The people that loved us hate us I think the war is going backwards making it worse. Its good helping but not when no one thanks you. We should stay 3 months and then leave when the job can fix its self. There’s no point in helping if the people don’t want help. That’s what I think about the war.
Last, burning alive. Iraq is like Mexico its flipping hott!!!!! The suits add an extra thousand degrees to the regular tempature. And when you pull it off you can get shot by the thousand bad people. If you don’t then you burn alive. That’s what I think about the suits.

Animal experiment is really bad these scientist are experimenting on these species that may be endangers or can be. These experiments get out of hand and these animals die. Theses are awesome creatures and the scientists kill them or leave them with a life with pain and agony do these scientists even care about animals. I wonder if there pet was testes on and that had to watch or there favorite animal was getting tested on and maybe be endangered. When we eject the animal or make an animal drink something
In 1995 the scientist tried to cure aids and a baboon donor lost his life by testing the aid treatment. All animals are different in genetic ways and not so humans. So if we test to stuff on a cat it might have different side effects on the human or might kill the human. And not the animal so we when they experiment gini pigs are coated with corrosive substance that eat through their organs, dogs are having massive surgery and blinded cats are dropped into vast water. The accounts of any animal experiments surpass any horror movie and sheer repulsiveness.
Animal is not jest wrong it is also grotesque. Right now history knows that animal experiment is never justified. In history we do not need animal experiments to prove that the cure can makes the disease better. Now we have better thing like machines and they can tell us if the cure works or not. Animal experiments are not right unless some people think it helps people practice in medical research is impossibly justified.
The humans think that the soupier power makes them believe that they can do anything to any animal. They put them through that pain and surgery do we honesty believe that it is that we can torther these animals. When we use animals for experiments it violate animal rights without suffering and the pain.

Dear Mr. President,
I am writing to you today to make a statement about teen pregnancy and how it affects the mother and the child. First of all the baby did not ask to be born and some of the mothers may not want the baby so she gives it up for adoption. The mother may be so young she would have to have an abortion. Now think how wrong that is to kill a sweet little baby just because the mother made a bad decision. If the mother decided to keep the baby then she would have to have a job that pays well. The reason behind that is because the baby might get sick and have to get medical help soon. How would the mom pay for that if she does not have the money or her parents’ help? The child also needs diapers, formula, a car seat and a bed to sleep in. This is a big problem in the United States and that is the rate of how many teenage girls are having babies. Some of the mother’s parents don’t even care if their babies are having babies. The rate is outrageous and something needs to be done about it. From the year 1991-2005 the percent of teen-age mothers increased by three percent, according to the Centers for Disease Control. According to the web sit rates of pregnancy that is the rate in the United States alone. That is pretty high. In the year 1996 the abortion rate has went up a lot that means the rate now is 29.2%. This rate goes up every year. That is what the Internet said the rate was. Something needs to be done about the rate of pregnancy and abortion. So children need to be a little bit more responsible and think a bad idea through. These babies don’t deserve to be killed or abandone. They have a lot of life ahead of them so they should finish school and get a good job and then maybe settle down and start a family.
