Dear Mr. President,
I am writing to you today to voice my opinion on crime in the world. Throughout this letter I am going to discuss crime, court, law enforcment and parole. I feel that crime is a big problem in the United States. Statistics say that crime is the number one reason for people dying. I feel that our law enforcement is doing all they can to keep the people of the United States safe. Police officers and FBI agents are being killed left and Right. The gangs are running the streets; drug lords are killing people just because they think they won’t get caught. I feel that the extent of crime is being greatly exaggerated by the media. Polls say that most Americans fear crime more than anything else. The way the media reports crime I don’t know who wouldn’t be afraid of crime. The media makes it seem like it is what the world wants to hear. USA Today said the media are going to places they are not supposed to be and posting the false info. A reporter’s job is to report the news not give their opinions. Some reporters go too deep in their report on a recent crime that happened. Last but not least I would like to discuss the problem with court. Courts are letting high security criminals go free. For instance Michael Jackson was found not guilty. When a lot of evidence is presented in a case most criminals are set free. I don’t like the idea of parole. Parole tells some people that what they have done is I hope you take my argument into consideration. I feel this is a very good argument that will help America in the future. My opinion is that all gay and lesbian people should have the right to adopt. Gay and lesbian people should have the right to adopt. I think that all homosexual people should have the right to adopt kids because if you think about it some of them can’t have kids like guys for example Homosexual people can’t have kids if they don’t want to. Homosexual is not a bad thing there are a lot of people that are like that. I now a lot of people that are lesbian and gay and they all deserve the chance To be parents. Some people can’t have kids so I think that all kids should have a house to go to. I have house don’t you think that every child should have a home I think so. Dear Mr. President, There are many problems in this world, but right now I would love to focus on a big one, global warming. Global warming will have a big effect on the world if we don’t do something now. In this letter I will talk about what global warming is doing to the world and also the water in the ocean. The last one is how we can help. First global warming is changing the world. According to David Allen, in his book, the temperatures are getting rising every year. In the summer the sun puts out rays. The rays are making the world hotter and hotter each day. The rays are not getting hotter the sun is getting bigger, causing rays to get closer. The temperature has been rising every year. It has never gotten this hot before. We need to act or we might get put in a bad situation. The Oceans in the world are rising. According to “The Oceans Are Rising” Every year the ocean rises 2 inches. We have something to do with the water rising. If the water keeps raising the world will lose their homes in floods. Witch will cause massive problems. Polar bears are losing their homes to, they live on ice, and if there were no ice, what would they live on? The glaciers are melting witch causes the ocean to rise. Then cities and towns will flood. Polar bears are drowning. It is all one big cycle. It will all have a big effect on us if we don’t fix it know. Last is how we can fix it, according to Ten Ways to go Green we need to fix Global Warming. Put less pollution in the world. Stop the littering. Take better care of our world. Ride your bicycle. Take care of our Ozone layer. We have to start now. Global warming will affect us. Even if it hasn’t that doesn’t mean we should just sit there doing nothing, it will happen someday. I’d like to ask you a question if we could speak honestly. What do you feel when you see all the homeless on the street? Are you proud? What do you pray for before you go to sleep? How do you feel when a person has no chance to say goodbye?
Homelessness is a big problem. I think the government should support homelessness. I think the homeless should be given a place to stay. I think we should build a homeless shelter for every state.
How do you feel when parents or kids have no chance to say goodbye? I am talking about the war. By this I mean its not fair when a family member has no chance to say goodbye when someone dies. I think the family should be called if someone is dying.
Another issue that I didn’t state above is drug abuse. Many people are using drugs in bad ways. People are getting high off drugs. I think drugs like ecstasy should be illegal unless prescribed by a doctor.
So I think things like drug abuse homelessness should be looked at more thoroughly.
The issue I think that you need to do something about is endangered animals. Well we use them for so many things in the world, some of them really need are help just to survive, and because there are many people that love animals. So many animals have died through out some of these years. Most people would be surprised on how the numbers or percents have drop through the years. We can’t just let all the endangered animals died. Then were will we get all of are meat from. Then no one can go hunting anymore. And we need to limit are self’s on land because the animals don't have much left for them to hunt, live and roam on land. The animals meat that has protein is really critical for are health. And animals are very helpful for medications. We use 100 species a day to make are medication. Animal’s help in are ecosystem everyday help the plants purify are air, clean are water, and supply us with food. We need to start helping some animals live. Some of them are dieing so fast. And they can't survive on their own. But one way we can help the animals is throwing away weeds and leaving old and new trees were you found them, so that some of the animals that nest, can nest in a tree. And we can start to build birdhouses and planting many trees for birds and other animals to live in. To not use fertilizer anymore it really kills the animals. And if some people start to recycle to is good for are planet and for the animals. So many people love the kind of animals we have. They love the animals we have for many of there own different reasons. And they would probably be heart broken if they saw all the animals were starting to disappear. And then if they start to disappear then whose going to help the plants purify all of are air. Then we could all die. That is why I think that we should help and save the animals as much as we can. I would like you the president to do something to help the animals.
Dear Mr. President, A huge issue in the U.S. is homeless people. In fact 26% of the country has no homes, and money. Sadly 11% of veterans who come home from Iraq have no homes to go to, because of this issue, many people die on the streets. The estimated amount of homeless people in the America is 800,000 to 3.5 million! Children and families are the fastest growing segment of the homeless population. According to the federal government, the only way a person can be homeless is that they lack a permanent of nighttime residence. Well I strongly believe that if a person has no money, and is on the streets practically dieing that is called “Homeless.” Although poverty and homeless people are linked to the combination of falling wages and higher house prices make housing unaffordable for many people. Therefore other people suffer from problems from substance abuse, mental -health, disability, or illness, which leads to becoming homeless. The. U.S. interagency Council on Homelessness has called an end to homelessness within ten years. This huge goal requires cooperation on many levels: federal, state and local. Strategies to achieve this goal include preventing homelessness for those on the verge and providing permanent housing for the homeless population. However this plan may work in ten years, what will we do now? Homelessness is in dire need ASAP! Please president makes a sanctuary in every state so that homeless people can turn it. Sincerely, Tori
One issue that is affecting this world is global warming. Polar bears are becoming extinct because of the glaciers melting. Soon the sea level will rise, thus causing much damage. Also people are being careless and littering, which causes pollution. Polar bears are dying and it is becoming harder for them to find food. The glaciers are melting and that is drowning the polar bears. The polar bears need a new home that they can adapt to, according to Mira Oberman and the Resource Defense Council. The polar bears have to swim to find food and they will drown. The sea level is rising also. This can be very bad because it causes floods and if it gets bad enough it will cover islands. People can get hurt and hurricanes will increase in number, which means more money damages, according to National Geographic. The last issue of global warming I would like to talk about would be pollution, which is causing the sea levels to rise and the polar bears to die. Cars let off exhaust that goes in the air. Also factories are doing the same, sending bad fumes into the air, according to the environmental group, wn network. Other people and I want you to do something about this. Something you can do is to start a recycling team to help pick up the environments. Also, ban bad products that cause global warming that isn’t a major product that we need, like cars we need them but hairspray we don’t really need because we can use gel. Global warming is destroying this earth and soon we can do nothing about this, so please try to do anything you can to help this earth. Global Warming will get worse if nothing happens.
There are tons and tons of issues in our world but personally I would rather focus on the problem in Welfare. In this letter you will see five paragraphs. In paragraph number one you will see the importance of lazy people not working. In paragraph two you will preview in detail, people having to pay for others, and rely on Welfare for support. Finally in paragraph three, you will see that it’s other people’s money that hard workers work for, Welfare shouldn’t take it for lazy people!
Welfare is taking some of the hard earned money out of hard working people’s paychecks, and giving the money to people who do not work, at all! These people have many, many, children. Tommy G Thompson bakes this paragraph up. Tommy G. Thompson is the Republican Governor of Wisconsin. There are many people who are concerned with this problem. We need to do something about it.
Dick Armey Claims that an increase in Welfare benefits. This currently leads to a decrease in the earned income of the recipients. In my words, it would be, Welfare is taking well-earned money out of good people’s incomes, and giving it to lazy people who don’t deserve that money, at all! This problem is increasing we should do something about it fast.
I am very displeased with how Welfare takes hard earned money from others. They currently give it to people who should learn how to support their own family. They need to learn by their selves and not by Welfare. We don’t need anymore-lazy people then there already are. They shouldn’t rely on others to pay for them; they will expect you to pay for them there whole lives! It’s not fair for the people who work hard for there money. In the book the ending of Welfare, by Michael Tanner, it will explain these things if not more.
Welfare is a big problem, and it should have been banned a long time ago. Since it is still going on now, we should ban it now, and forever! I feel this issue is becoming a problem. Welfare should be banned! It’s becoming a huge problem to people who work hard for their money. They shouldn’t be relied on Welfare for there money, if lazy people need money, they need to get a job! I am against alcoholism for people under age drinking policy. There are so many things that can happen to people under. Or even if they are not drinking! It can put a bad influence on siblings or kids that look up to you.
Drunk driving is a very serious situation for all ages. There can be a person that is drinking and get in an accident with a person in a different car. That can cause some serious damage in various ways. It can kill other people in or that is not even in your car.
Teen drinking is a very bad thing for the age. Even when teens are not responsible enough. Teens can get bad alcohol poisoning and die from a very young age and then making a very stupid choice. In the end it really isn’t worth all the trouble.
One thing that puts people down is when younger people or your friends look up to you and see what happened. That is a really bad influence and makes them want to do it also. It doesn’t feel good when other people repeat your mistakes.
Alcoholism is bad for humans under the age 21. Mr. President please just tell the teens what can happen to humans under age drinking. Help them understand! And don’t let people drink and drive. They could make a very bad choice
You might not have noticed, but all of your fellow Americans has MANY problems and complaints about how the laws and ways of life are going on right now. I can’t tell you all of them, but here is one BIG problem that I’m sure most people are not ok with and that would be welfare. Welfare is pointless because it doesn’t do anyone any good. The reason why I say that is, because when people live off of welfare (mostly women), they are lazy and they don’t want to get a job (which is why they need welfare). Instead of doing the right thing which is working, mostly mothers want free money and probably just spend it all on themselves and not the things that they should already be spending the money on. The worst part is, where do you think welfare money comes from? Other hard working people’s pay checks! Yeah that’s right and do you think that it is totally fair to be taking away money from other people who earned that money fair and square. The lazy people whom just sit around all day starring at walls doing absolutely nothing? That’s what really bugs me, and we need to do something about it fast and now! You know one thing that I wonder about is could people get bankrupted? Probably so because money keeps being taken away from them to pay for lazy people. So welfare can also put people in debt! So that’s not always our fault, it’s welfare’s! So I hope that all of you law people understand that nobody wants welfare because it’s pointless, annoying, a waste of money and many other things. Please ban welfare for good and never ever let it come back to displease EVERYONE!
Dear Mr. president, I have an issue and it is that there is not enough funding for JDRF research. JDRF only gets $873.7 million funding from you guys. Here is why I think JDRF should get more funding. More than 230 million people in this world have diabetes I myself Have diabetes. IF there was more research funding it might be able to help kids that have diabetes and also the kids families. My third reason for more funding is I know what it is like to have diabetes and sometimes wish there was an effective cure for diabetes.
In this world there is more than 230 million diabetics according to the world diabetes foundation. Every ten seconds someone dies form diabetes. Also diabetes is the one major cause of premature death. So if there was more funding, then we might be able to find a cure there will be less of a population of people with diabetes. Also diabetes related deaths would go down and also it might not be the world’s one major cause of premature death and then there would be fewer kids with diabetes. If there were a cure it might help some people financially cause I have diabetes and so does my dad, so I know that supplies is not cheap and we need these things or else we will die. Plus it can be really hard it changes your life style one day you can be normal and feel good and the next you feel bad and tired.
My last reason is I know how what it is like to have diabetes. I wouldn’t wish diabetes on anyone it is a very hard thing to deal with. I have many friends who have it also and they have problems with people giving them problems about their diabetes, so it can affect you mentally. That and you are always going to have health problems with it, for instance you get sick easier. That and people don’t always understand diabetes like I have had problems with schools not wanting to do certain things for me and it can be very hard to deal with.
These are my reasons of why I think that the JDRF needs more funding for research. I hope you will keep this stuff in mind and help my issue. Thanks for your time.
I think that gay and lesbians should have the right to get married. According to The United States Census Bureau there are about 594,381 gays and lesbians in the Untied States. Just think of with life would be like if you never got rights to get married. And then think of how happy they will be once they get to spend the rest of their live married to the people they love. If the people are happy that is all that should matter right?? Well according to Denise Penn of the lesbian news all of the people in her area were ecstatic about califina excepting the rights for gay and lesbian people to get married. Because most of them would like to get married in the united states, and not have to travel to another country to get married. Anyone should be able to get married in any state. According to William Henderson and John Gallagher of the Advocate, most states that have approved marriage rights for gay and lesbian couples are now threatened. I don’t think that is fair. Any state should be able to approve marriage for anyone, and not have to feel threatened. I think that it is fair for gay and lesbians to be able to get married any were, exspely in their home towns. You need to pass a law that states that anyone can get married any were. I know that it may be against the constitution but in the long run it will be a great thing.
Abortion should be stopped. It is cruel and unusual punishment for unborn babies of the United States. They deserve as much of a chance at life then we do. The pore babies could turn out to be something great. He or she could be the next president for all you know. Why would you kill the baby that is inside of you any way?
The babies need your help. If you help save the babies they might turn out to be very helpful to the environment. You could be helping the planet be a better place.

The people should have to take responsibilities for their actions. More and more teens are becoming pregnant and turning to abortion to get away from those responsibilities. According to the opposing viewpoints resource document the rate of crimes in teens has gone up because abortion has helped them out of their responsibilities and they think they can do anything now.
Abortion is a big thing that should be stopped because it has caused so many problems for every one and especially the women that have gotten abortions. It is wrong and very cruel punishment for all those unborn babies that cold make something of them selves. What I would like u to do is help out and ban abortion. You have a chance to do something about all of this and you should take it while you can.
I would like to call your attention to the rising problem of Domestic Violence. In the United States one in three women will be abused at one point in their lives. In ten years that number will be much higher if this matter is just overlooked. The most common types of abuse to women are physical and sexual abuse. There are even people that abuse their children by hitting them even though they are just kids. The punishment for Domestic Violence should be much higher so that people convicted with that crime don’t get out of jail and start again. The following information will support my views on Domestic Violence, and why it needs to stop. Women in the United States have been abused for a long time, but in the last few years the number has risen a lot. One third of women get abused in their lives and don’t tell anyone. Sometimes they think that the men that abuse them don’t really mean it because they had been drinking, or for some other reason, like they did something to deserve it. But mostly its because they are threatened if they think about going to the police. Many times it isn’t stopped until its too late. Last November a man killed his girlfriend, and after the police investigated they found that it wasn’t the first time that he had abused her. That is only one example of Domestic Violence in the United States and there are many others that turned out the same, so whoever says that this isn’t a problem that needs attention, then there aren’t very many problems that do. Another major form of Domestic Violence is child violence. Some parents are very abusive to their children, and its not right because they don’t have the option of defending themselves. In some homes kids are abused only sometimes because of bad grades, but that doesn’t make it any better than the parents that beat their children for no reason at all. The government needs to pay attention to all forms of Domestic Violence but this is probably the worst because its against kids that don’t have any control over it because they cant get away from it as easily as adults. The most important way to prevent Domestic Violence is to make the punishment worse. Many people that go to prison for Domestic Violence get out and just go right back to abusing again. If they make the sentences longer for first time offenders, then it might teach them a lesson and they wouldn’t abuse anyone again. For those people that are second and third time offenders.
Dear Mr. President, As you know there are many problems in this world, but I think there is one problem that is the biggest, gun control. One problem with them is the increase of suicide because of how easy it is to get a hold of a gun. According to a study in Dallas 76% of suicides were caused by guns. My opinion is this is not acceptable and we need to do something about it. Another problem with guns is the violent crimes such as, school shootings robberies, and street shootings. According to Louise Gerdes from the Detroit: Greenhaven Press the shootings at schools is a cry out to get stronger gun control laws. If parents have guns they NEED to be locked up in a safe or a closet so children shouldn’t be able to get their hands on them. Last, there are WAY too many killings on the streets. People should only be able to own a gun if they are a police officer or something that relates to the law. According to the Detroit: Greenhaven press more laws means less shootings. You as a president need to find ways to help prevent suicide. The number of kids killing themselves needs to get at a lower rate. There is 175,000 people that commit suicide through out just one year. this is an important issue in our world that needs to be fixed. Another reason that’s important is why do they commit suicide? they do it because they get mad at someone or are angry about something that matters to them. thier family members suffer cause of there deaths. We should try and find out were they are hiding their nukes. We should bring are men back because some of the families are loosing there loved ones. Some of the people in the army are glad that they are though because they can serve their country and feel good about it. Another thing that it does to the mind is that it gets emotionally sad from not seeing their families. The war is bad for the economy when we need the money here in the United States. We also need the money for other reasons like oil and not to keep our troops in Iraq. We should use the money for things like building like more oilrigs or something like that. If we do keep are troops in Iraq then we should give them stronger vests so that are troops don’t die as much. I think that we should take all of are troops out and nuke Iraq and then we wouldn’t have a war problem. We would also have to get out all of the people that didn’t do any thing wrong.

Well I strongly believe that if a person has no money, and is on the streets practically dieing that is called “Homeless.” Although poverty and homeless people are linked to the combination of falling wages and higher house prices make housing unaffordable for many people.
Therefore other people suffer from problems from substance abuse, mental -health, disability, or illness, which leads to becoming homeless. The. U.S. interagency Council on Homelessness has called an end to homelessness within ten years. This huge goal requires cooperation on many levels: federal, state and local. Strategies to achieve this goal include preventing homelessness for those on the verge and providing permanent housing for the homeless population.
However this plan may work in ten years, what will we do now? Homelessness is in dire need ASAP! Please president makes a sanctuary in every state so that homeless people can turn it.

One issue that is affecting this world is global warming. Polar bears are becoming extinct because of the glaciers melting. Soon the sea level will rise, thus causing much damage. Also people are being careless and littering, which causes pollution.
Polar bears are dying and it is becoming harder for them to find food. The glaciers are melting and that is drowning the polar bears. The polar bears need a new home that they can adapt to, according to Mira Oberman and the Resource Defense Council. The polar bears have to swim to find food and they will drown.
The sea level is rising also. This can be very bad because it causes floods and if it gets bad enough it will cover islands. People can get hurt and hurricanes will increase in number, which means more money damages, according to National Geographic.
The last issue of global warming I would like to talk about would be pollution, which is causing the sea levels to rise and the polar bears to die. Cars let off exhaust that goes in the air. Also factories are doing the same, sending bad fumes into the air, according to the environmental group, wn network.
Other people and I want you to do something about this. Something you can do is to start a recycling team to help pick up the environments. Also, ban bad products that cause global warming that isn’t a major product that we need, like cars we need them but hairspray we don’t really need because we can use gel. Global warming is destroying this earth and soon we can do nothing about this, so please try to do anything you can to help this earth. Global Warming will get worse if nothing happens.

There are tons and tons of issues in our world but personally I would rather focus on the problem in Welfare. In this letter you will see five paragraphs. In paragraph number one you will see the importance of lazy people not working. In paragraph two you will preview in detail, people having to pay for others, and rely on Welfare for support. Finally in paragraph three, you will see that it’s other people’s money that hard workers work for, Welfare shouldn’t take it for lazy people!
Welfare is taking some of the hard earned money out of hard working people’s paychecks, and giving the money to people who do not work, at all! These people have many, many, children. Tommy G Thompson bakes this paragraph up. Tommy G. Thompson is the Republican Governor of Wisconsin. There are many people who are concerned with this problem. We need to do something about it.
Dick Armey Claims that an increase in Welfare benefits. This currently leads to a decrease in the earned income of the recipients. In my words, it would be, Welfare is taking well-earned money out of good people’s incomes, and giving it to lazy people who don’t deserve that money, at all! This problem is increasing we should do something about it fast.
I am very displeased with how Welfare takes hard earned money from others. They currently give it to people who should learn how to support their own family. They need to learn by their selves and not by Welfare. We don’t need anymore-lazy people then there already are. They shouldn’t rely on others to pay for them; they will expect you to pay for them there whole lives! It’s not fair for the people who work hard for there money. In the book the ending of Welfare, by Michael Tanner, it will explain these things if not more.
Welfare is a big problem, and it should have been banned a long time ago. Since it is still going on now, we should ban it now, and forever! I feel this issue is becoming a problem. Welfare should be banned! It’s becoming a huge problem to people who work hard for their money. They shouldn’t be relied on Welfare for there money, if lazy people need money, they need to get a job! I am against alcoholism for people under age drinking policy. There are so many things that can happen to people under. Or even if they are not drinking! It can put a bad influence on siblings or kids that look up to you.
Drunk driving is a very serious situation for all ages. There can be a person that is drinking and get in an accident with a person in a different car. That can cause some serious damage in various ways. It can kill other people in or that is not even in your car.
Teen drinking is a very bad thing for the age. Even when teens are not responsible enough. Teens can get bad alcohol poisoning and die from a very young age and then making a very stupid choice. In the end it really isn’t worth all the trouble.
One thing that puts people down is when younger people or your friends look up to you and see what happened. That is a really bad influence and makes them want to do it also. It doesn’t feel good when other people repeat your mistakes.
Alcoholism is bad for humans under the age 21. Mr. President please just tell the teens what can happen to humans under age drinking. Help them understand! And don’t let people drink and drive. They could make a very bad choice

You might not have noticed, but all of your fellow Americans has MANY problems and complaints about how the laws and ways of life are going on right now. I can’t tell you all of them, but here is one BIG problem that I’m sure most people are not ok with and that would be welfare.
Welfare is pointless because it doesn’t do anyone any good. The reason why I say that is, because when people live off of welfare (mostly women), they are lazy and they don’t want to get a job (which is why they need welfare). Instead of doing the right thing which is working, mostly mothers want free money and probably just spend it all on themselves and not the things that they should already be spending the money on.
The worst part is, where do you think welfare money comes from? Other hard working people’s pay checks! Yeah that’s right and do you think that it is totally fair to be taking away money from other people who earned that money fair and square. The lazy people whom just sit around all day starring at walls doing absolutely nothing? That’s what really bugs me, and we need to do something about it fast and now!
You know one thing that I wonder about is could people get bankrupted? Probably so because money keeps being taken away from them to pay for lazy people. So welfare can also put people in debt! So that’s not always our fault, it’s welfare’s!
So I hope that all of you law people understand that nobody wants welfare because it’s pointless, annoying, a waste of money and many other things. Please ban welfare for good and never ever let it come back to displease EVERYONE!

I have an issue and it is that there is not enough funding for JDRF research.
JDRF only gets $873.7 million funding from you guys. Here is why I think JDRF should get more funding. More than 230 million people in this world have diabetes I myself Have diabetes. IF there was more research funding it might be able to help kids that have diabetes and also the kids families. My third reason for more funding is I know what it is like to have diabetes and sometimes wish there was an effective cure for diabetes.
In this world there is more than 230 million diabetics according to the world diabetes foundation. Every ten seconds someone dies form diabetes. Also diabetes is the one major cause of premature death. So if there was more funding, then we might be able to find a cure there will be less of a population of people with diabetes. Also diabetes related deaths would go down and also it might not be the world’s one major cause of premature death and then there would be fewer kids with diabetes. If there were a cure it might help some people financially cause I have diabetes and so does my dad, so I know that supplies is not cheap and we need these things or else we will die. Plus it can be really hard it changes your life style one day you can be normal and feel good and the next you feel bad and tired.
My last reason is I know how what it is like to have diabetes. I wouldn’t wish diabetes on anyone it is a very hard thing to deal with. I have many friends who have it also and they have problems with people giving them problems about their diabetes, so it can affect you mentally. That and you are always going to have health problems with it, for instance you get sick easier. That and people don’t always understand diabetes like I have had problems with schools not wanting to do certain things for me and it can be very hard to deal with.
These are my reasons of why I think that the JDRF needs more funding for research. I hope you will keep this stuff in mind and help my issue. Thanks for your time.

I think that gay and lesbians should have the right to get married. According to The United States Census Bureau there are about 594,381 gays and lesbians in the Untied States. Just think of with life would be like if you never got rights to get married. And then think of how happy they will be once they get to spend the rest of their live married to the people they love.
If the people are happy that is all that should matter right?? Well according to Denise Penn of the lesbian news all of the people in her area were ecstatic about califina excepting the rights for gay and lesbian people to get married. Because most of them would like to get married in the united states, and not have to travel to another country to get married.
Anyone should be able to get married in any state. According to William Henderson and John Gallagher of the Advocate, most states that have approved marriage rights for gay and lesbian couples are now threatened. I don’t think that is fair. Any state should be able to approve marriage for anyone, and not have to feel threatened.
I think that it is fair for gay and lesbians to be able to get married any were, exspely in their home towns. You need to pass a law that states that anyone can get married any were. I know that it may be against the constitution but in the long run it will be a great thing.

Abortion should be stopped. It is cruel and unusual punishment for unborn babies of the United States. They deserve as much of a chance at life then we do. The pore babies could turn out to be something great. He or she could be the next president for all you know. Why would you kill the baby that is inside of you any way?
The babies need your help. If you help save the babies they might turn out to be very helpful to the environment. You could be helping the planet be a better place.
The mothers that get abortions usually feel powerless and alone. In the opposing viewpoints resource document it says that studies show hat they usually resort to great depression and/or suicide.
The people should have to take responsibilities for their actions. More and more teens are becoming pregnant and turning to abortion to get away from those responsibilities. According to the opposing viewpoints resource document the rate of crimes in teens has gone up because abortion has helped them out of their responsibilities and they think they can do anything now.
Abortion is a big thing that should be stopped because it has caused so many problems for every one and especially the women that have gotten abortions. It is wrong and very cruel punishment for all those unborn babies that cold make something of them selves. What I would like u to do is help out and ban abortion. I would like to call your attention to the rising problem of Domestic Violence. In the United States one in three women will be abused at one point in their lives. In ten years that number will be much higher if this matter is just overlooked. The most common types of abuse to women are physical and sexual abuse. There are even people that abuse their children by hitting them even though they are just kids. The punishment for Domestic Violence should be much higher so that people convicted with that crime don’t get out of jail and start again. The following information will support my views on Domestic Violence, and why it needs to stop.
Women in the United States have been abused for a long time, but in the last few years the number has risen a lot. One third of women get abused in their lives and don’t tell anyone. Sometimes they think that the men that abuse them don’t really mean it because they had been drinking, or for some other reason, like they did something to deserve it. But mostly its because they are threatened if they think about going to the police. Many times it isn’t stopped until its too late. Last November a man killed his girlfriend, and after the police investigated they found that it wasn’t the first time that he had abused her. That is only one example of Domestic Violence in the United States and there are many others that turned out the same, so whoever says that this isn’t a problem that needs attention, then there aren’t very many problems that do.
Another major form of Domestic Violence is child violence. Some parents are very abusive to their children, and its not right because they don’t have the option of defending themselves. In some homes kids are abused only sometimes because of bad grades, but that doesn’t make it any better than the parents that beat their children for no reason at all. The government needs to pay attention to all forms of Domestic Violence but this is probably the worst because its against kids that don’t have any control over it because they cant get away from it as easily as adults.
The most important way to prevent Domestic Violence is to make the punishment worse. Many people that go to prison for Domestic Violence get out and just go right back to abusing again. If they make the sentences longer for first time offenders, then it might teach them a lesson and they wouldn’t abuse anyone again. For those people that are second and third time offenders.

As you know there are many problems in this world, but I think there is one problem that is the biggest, gun control.
One problem with them is the increase of suicide because of how easy it is to get a hold of a gun. According to a study in Dallas 76% of suicides were caused by guns. My opinion is this is not acceptable and we need to do something about it.
Another problem with guns is the violent crimes such as, school shootings robberies, and street shootings. According to Louise Gerdes from the Detroit: Greenhaven Press the shootings at schools is a cry out to get stronger gun control laws. If parents have guns they NEED to be locked up in a safe or a closet so children shouldn’t be able to get their hands on them.
Last, there are WAY too many killings on the streets. People should only be able to own a gun if they are a police officer or something that relates to the law. According to the Detroit: Greenhaven press more laws means less shootings.
As you can see, there are too many problems with guns and how they are used. All we need is a little more enforcement on guns and I think this world would be safer.

One issue I think needs to be fixed in our world id suicide. there is a high number of kids killing themselves. They have specific reasons why they kill them selves. You as a president need to find ways to help prevent suicide.
The number of kids killing themselves needs to get at a lower rate. There is 175,000 people that commit suicide through out just one year. this is an important issue in our world that needs to be fixed.
Another reason that’s important is why do they commit suicide? they do it because they get mad at someone or are angry about something that matters to them. thier family members suffer cause of there deaths.
There is many ways you can help prevent suicide. you need to have a special class for them. People that can help them control themselves. they need someone to talk to them. I bet it will help them a lot.

I am writing you a letter about the in War in Iraq. I think we should bring are men out because the killing and vilence is bad. We should try and find out were they are hiding their nukes. We should bring are men back because some of the families are loosing there loved ones. Some of the people in the army are glad that they are though because they can serve their country and feel good about it. Another thing that it does to the mind is that it gets emotionally sad from not seeing their families.
The war is bad for the economy when we need the money here in the United States. We also need the money for other reasons like oil and not to keep our troops in Iraq. We should use the money for things like building like more oilrigs or something like that. If we do keep are troops in Iraq then we should give them stronger vests so that are troops don’t die as much.
I think that we should take all of are troops out and nuke Iraq and then we wouldn’t have a war problem. We would also have to get out all of the people that didn’t do any thing wrong.
